We have ambitious plans for the further development of Web Services, and Mark will play a key leadership role in these plans. I could not be more comfortable with anyone else in his current role and what we expect for the future.
Mark is a natural sales person who does an excellent job with prospective clients. He is honest and caring, and those characteristics show through during his contacts with clients. He does an excellent work in terms of securing project work and is able to guide the most problematic clients successfully through the concept and design phases of complex projects. He manages his projects well, despite the challenges that clients can present. He is always positive and goal focused and seeks to achieve high customer satisfaction. Every client to date, praises Mark for the excellent work performed and value achieved.
Mark does an excellent job of setting properly aligned goals and the means and timetable to achieve them. He and his staff are able to adjust quickly and well to shifting priorities to achieve desired outcomes.
Mark is keenly aware of and very well oriented to goals and plans. His performance and that of his department are fullu aligned to and measured against them.
Mark constantly keeps costs in mind and works well to control costs. He works in clever and creative ways to minimize costs.
Mark understands well that his department's Web services work is the key to the future of WGTE's growth and its continued development and service to the community.
Mark's leadership skills are above average in all respects. He delegates appropriately and inspires staff to work at a high performance level. Clearly, his staff members look up to him and respect him for his knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Mark assumes a very heavy workload without complaint. Despite the heavy workload and its complex nature, he excels in achieving great results in all respects. Efforts need to be made to further reduce the direct coding workload so that he can spend mor time conceiving, developing, and managing projects and methods.
Mark is absolutely enthusiastic and passionate about his work and is able to inspire those same feelings in clients. He possesses an excellent ability of identifying problems and seeks out appropriate solutions that are efficient and cost effective. Mark has a great ability to identify not only short term goals but also long term ones. He develops effective plans that permit us to achieve those goals. He is focused on the organization's mission and seeks to advance it in creative ways.
Mark is an excellent oral and written communicator, who excels at dealing with diverse audiences. Ever mindful that people have varying levels of understanding and knowledge about Web applications, he does an outstanding job of communicating effectively when spekaing about very complex processes and procedures. He always excels at people achieving true understanding about his subject.
Mark possesses excellent interpersonal skills that serve him well and successfully with a wide variety of different types of people, including co-workers, clients and others. He deals with everyone in a highly credible manner, with the greatest integrity.
Mark handles a tremendous amount of complex and varied work in an excellent fashion. Despite the fact that he continues to spend more time than he should on direct project coding (a function of the current work demands, as opposed to an inability to delegate work appropriately), he manages to do an excellent job in conceiving and managing projects.
Mark possesses an excellent knowledge base that grows and expands with continuous learning. He excels at effecting direct applications of his skill to positive and productive ways. He has an excellent facility for sharing his technical skills with others.
Mark is an asset to the organization. He combines technical skill with an innate feeling for WGTE's goals and an ability to advocate change while communicating the need for it. It is my pleasure to work with Mark on the exciting ventures already underway and still ahead.
Mark is asked to do a significant amount of work - both design and maintenance, in the course of a year. He handles the requests with grace and skill.
